ABOUT US
Welcome to the Big Cartel shop, it's for the sole purpose of offering Custom Badges. I have always been a great fan of Big Cartel and it provides a simple but effective option for showcasing the Custom Badge service.
Outlaw have been producing and retailing button badges since 2004 but I have never pushed the custom option. I operated on word-of-mouth; bringing in clients who were impressed with the products and the personal collabaration to produce the designs.
Over the years I have produced custom badges for a variety of bands, artists, businessess and organisations.
It's always a joy to work with well known music artists and I have produced a few over the years; more recent clients have been 'From The Jam', producing a limited tour button badge and the legendary band 'The Wailers', who were delighted with the beautiful presented brooch back badges for their 2018 UK tour.
The satisfaction of producing the best possible product for clients is enough to know I'm doing work to a high standard.
I can work with you on the whole project or you can simply use your own designs.
If you want something a bit different than just a loose button badge, then creativity is where I really excel! Past projects have included some weird and wonderful packaging to display the badges.
One of the favourites was working with the band 'Crumplehorns', producing a limited edition capsule which included a badge, individual download code and other inserts.
Extremely time consuming and not particular good for the envirnoment but the end product was pretty unique and appealing.
I repeat, "if you want something a bit different", I will give it a go.
PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTION
Maybe on a small scale but since 2004 I have used professional badge making machines with high quality badge components from reputable British manufacturers.
TIMESCALE
Production of up to 100 badges is usually 48 hours after design confirmation (depending on current workload).
Larger quantities will usually be dispatched within 10 days depending on quantity ordered. Do you need them quicker? Please contact us immediately for an estimate of additional costs.
POSTAGE & DELIVERY
UK orders are all sent by a registered service for easy tracking.
Smaller orders are sent within a quality bubble envelope to protect the badges. Larger orders are sent within secure boxes.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Please contact me before ordering if you would like your order tracked & signed. As these services cost more than the standard rate listed, an additional paypal money request will be sent.
PROCESS OF ORDER
So, you've made the decision that you want some badges but still not sure on the designs etc? Just contact me through the form and tell me all about it.
If you know what you want and are pretty much ready with your badge design (after reading the badge artwork guidelines) just email your design and requirements to [email protected] and I will check that it's acceptable.
When your design is accepted, I will email you to say everything is ok and provide a digital proof of the accepted design.
You must decide if you want a sample badge before full production. I do recommend ordering samples for large quantity orders to avoid any issues with the final product. The sample cost will be refunded if you decide to order larger quantities.
If you wish to go ahead without a sample badge, I do not accept any responsibility if there are any issues with the final product (unless I make a mistake).
